Christopher Schweitzer, Ph.D., F-AAA is Senior Audiologist and Corporate Chairman. Board Certified in Audiology, his background includes extensive hearing aid research with over 55 publications and university teaching positions in Maryland and Colorado. He is a frequent lecturer at national and inter-national professional/scientific meetings. A past member of the Executive Board of the American Auditory Society, he is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and a member of numerous other scientific organizations that work to improve technology for hearing aid consumers. He lectures and conducts research at the Univ. of Northern Colorado.

President
Karima Thobani, BC-HIS co-owner and President of Family Hearing. She has over 30 years of experience with hearing aid solutions. Karima’s college education in England was focused on early childhood education. She has communication skills in six languages not counting the engineering language of hearing aid technology! She is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences, member of the International Hearing Society, and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Hearing Society.

Jennifer LaBorde, B.A., BC-HIS (Assistant Manager) completed her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Colorado. Patient Care Coordinator
Alison Seiler earned her B.A. from the University of Colorado’s Department of Speech, Language, Hearing. She absolutely sparkles as our highly competent Patient Care Coordinator serving all the offices. A Colorado Springs native, Alison assists in all aspects of Patient Care and is midway in her apprenticeship to Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. Alison is a competitive tennis player and a delight to all who enter the Boulder office.

Chelsea Brude, B.S. graduated from the University of Northern Colorado’s Audiology & Speech program in 2008. She has worked in the profession for the past several years in Colorado and New Mexico before joining our family of Hearing Care Professionals. Chelsea enjoys playing and listening to music, as well as camping and hiking. Chelsea has an obvious love for people, and a growing competence in her craft. You’ll find Chelsea’s special charm and dedication to hearing solutions in the Broomfield and Lafayette offices.
