Allison Knox, who goes by Allie, earned her bachelor’s degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences and psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her path to audiology began after taking an introductory class in communication disorders, where she quickly discovered a passion for helping others through better hearing health.
Before joining the hearing care field, Allie gained diverse experience as a farmers market vendor, sales associate, and hostess. She also contributed to a CU Boulder pilot project providing sensory-friendly experiences for children at the Fiske Planetarium.
As an audiology technician at Family Hearing, Allie values working with a supportive, women-owned practice committed to building strong patient relationships. She finds it rewarding to improve patients’ everyday lives and see the difference hearing can make in their ability to connect with others.
Originally from Chicago, Allie loves reading, taking walks, exploring the outdoors, and discovering new coffee shops. Most of all, she treasures quality time with family and friends.
