Elizabeth Falconer, M.A., HAAP

Hearing Aid Apprentice & Patient Care Coordinator

Liz graduated with honors from Portland State University in Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Speech Language and Hearing Sciences as well as Psychology. She also earned her Associate of Arts degree in Arabic while in the Marine Corps at the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center in Monterey, California. She has been in the hearing industry since 2013 when she discovered her passion for hearing science through her own acquired hearing loss. Liz has since worked in private practice as well as studied for her Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Liz is passionate about hearing and was very involved in her program at CU Boulder. She helped create a mentoring program for undergraduate students who were interested in audiology. She has worked with clients of all ages, but has a real love for working with adults and hearing aids. And since she wears the current technology she is well versed in the ins and outs of the devices and software.

She is very excited to start this new chapter of her life at Family Hearing. The support for community, love for hearing, and genuine enjoyment in helping people is what drew her to this team. Liz has her Hearing Aid Apprentice license which allows her to both help with scheduling and administrative tasks as well as ear cleaning, repairs, and programming. She loves that every member of the team contributes various skills and backgrounds and that is what makes this team so unique and so strong.

Liz moved to Colorado in 2014 with her 2 sons. They love exploring the state and finding new adventures on the weekends. They all enjoy hiking, swimming, traveling, and playing with their rescue dog, Lola.
