Dr. Georgianna “Georgie” Hearne brings both heart and high standards to her role as Clinical Director at Family Hearing. Her journey into audiology began in high school with a fascination for American Sign Language and Deaf culture — sparking a lifelong interest in how people communicate and connect. That curiosity grew into a passion for helping others hear their best and stay engaged with the world around them.
A Texas native, Dr. Hearne earned both her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences and her Doctor of Audiology from Texas Tech University, graduating summa cum laude in both programs. She went on to gain diverse clinical experience across hospitals, ENT clinics, school systems, and private practice settings, including a doctoral residency that deepened her commitment to patient-centered care.
Since joining us, Dr. Hearne has grown from audiologist to lead audiologist, and now serves as clinical director of Family Hearing — where she combines her clinical expertise with a passion for leadership. In this role, she ensures that every team member upholds the same high standards of care she brings to each patient interaction. She has also championed the integration of new technologies and protocols that support evidence-based practices across the entire organization, helping raise the standard of care for every patient who walks through the door.
What Dr. Hearne loves most is getting to know her patients and tailoring solutions that support their unique needs and goals. Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time outdoors, and adventuring with their two dogs — always curious, always exploring.
