Jennifer La Borde graduated with honors from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She was a member of her university’s ASL (American Sign Language) club and audiology society, as well as the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association.
Jennifer took her first ASL class at age 16, and a fascination with hearing loss was born. Through ASL and getting to know the local Deaf community, she became passionate about human connections and communication. She studied speech, language, and hearing science in college, which required her to practice hearing evaluations. So, she tested her parents, who both showed signs of hearing loss that could be improved with the use of hearing aids. This family connection deepened her love for helping people reconnect with their lives.
Jennifer’s incredibly proud to be co-owner of Family Hearing, the longest-serving and most awarded hearing care practice in Boulder County. She loves being part of a team that takes pride in providing exceptional patient care. Outside the office, Jennifer loves reading novels, dancing Argentine Tango with her husband, and exploring the outdoors with her two children.
